It wouldn't be fall without...

Carter Mountain!

Typically, after the craziness of summer ministry and promotion Sunday, our family takes a family camping trip to enjoy the fall season (my personal favorite!) This year, our schedule didn't demand a getaway and our new role didn't allow us to take our camping trip, but we did manage to get to one of our favorite stops from our last couple of camping trips.

On our last Saturday in Virginia, we had the day off and so we decided to drive over to Charlottesville and pick apples at the Carter Mountain Orchard. We love the views, we love the hike through the acres of trees, we love the fresh apples and we especially love the hot apple donuts. Can you say, "YUM!"

Anyway, here are a few pictures of our adventures:

So proud of his apple!
Hmmm! Where to start?
Notice that Lily's pockets are full? We had both of our bags totally filled, along with Abby's purse and our jacket pockets. They were yummy!
The perfect one for Isaac was just a little out of reach.
Delicious!
