So as a short escape from the madness, I thought I'd take a minute to share a picture of my favorite Christmas gift this year. It came from Ryan's sister. I didn't ask for it, it wasn't the most expensive, I don't need it, but it is definitely my favorite. I think you can see why:
I have to say that I take comfort in the fact that there is actually a market for an ornament with that many little folks on it. At least if we've lost our minds by adding another, there must be some good company out there!

Sometimes it's the presents that don't cost anything that mean the most. My husband and 9 year old made me this beautiful wheelbarrow for my garden. At Christmas, all my children, including my 3 step-children, and two grandchildren, put their handprints on it. We are just waiting for two more handprints before we finish it. It is, by far, the BEST gift I've ever received!!!
One more... and one more... and one more.... just when is that quiver full???
;-)
Yes!!!
There is lots of good company. And you will probably find yourself developing new acquaintances-turned-friends with lots of kids. I find we just sort of get each other.
Take care!
